Recent press conferences have shown Nancy Pelosi to be losing her mind, she garbles names, mispronounces countries, and sometimes even looks lost.
This latest gaff would be hilarious if it was not so serious for our leaders to be of sound mind.
During a press briefing on Thursday, the House Minority Leader criticized the president’s choice of visiting Saudi Arabia first during his inaugural foreign trip.
She actually complained about the order in which President Trump is visiting other countries. Watch this:
“I thought it was unusual for the President of the United States to go to Saudi Arabia first. Saudi Arabia!” Pelosi said. It wasn’t even alphabetical. I mean, Saudi Arabia.”
Pelosi contrasted Trump’s visit with Bush 43 first visiting Mexico, and Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton and Obama visiting Canada first. Important to note that Mexico is not in alphabetical order either!
“Our friends and neighbors,” she said. “What was the decision-making process to go to Saudi Arabia first? That is a question that I have,” she said.
This woman has seriously lost it. But we have known that for some time now. Something is obviously wrong with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Another recent speech proves that.
Pelosi has previously been rather well spoken on the stage and that has changed dramatically. Was it a stroke? Who knows as mum is the word around Pelosi, but it is blatant that her days in Congress are numbered.
During Pelosi’s recent 7-minute speech to Refugees International, she garbled names, other words and even mispronounced countries, and looked sometimes lost.
She congratulated honorees for their well-deserved “resc — recognition.”
Pelosi complimented Refugees International’s “strong moral varce — voice.” She said America “degrades our values and our security when we slam the door in the face of children freeing — fleeing atrocities.”
She botched country names as she read them from her notes. “With the specter of famine looming in, over Northeast Nigeria, Somalia, South “Sudon,” and “Yuma — Yamen,” she said, flubbing “Yemen.”
Pelosi asserted cutting the foreign aid budget would “only deepen the crisis fighting — facing the children.”
I have almost 4 decades of public speaking experience. Slips of the tongue and brain farts are a part of the nature of the beast. But this is off the charts. To go from eloquent to barely able to read your notes is proof that something is gravely wrong.
This has been going on for a couple months, but it has definitely gotten worse. In February, Pelosi gave this bizarre speech for Families USA, a group of activists who are fighting the repeal of Obamacare. She not only repeated herself multiple times, but she slurred through some words and forgot which state John Kasich was governor of.
When Pelosi attempted to butter up the audience by heaping praise on Families USA, no one clapped after she congratulated them for her work.
She then tried to jump start the applause: “When I said we could not have done it without Families USA, that is an applause line for you.”
Then she stated the nonsensical, “By the way, do you know who the poorest people in America are? Infants and children. Infants and children,”.
When Pelosi attempted to show support for Medicaid, she said, “Don’t take it from me. John Kasich, the Governor of Illinois said, ‘Thank God for Medicaid.’”
Kasich is Governor of Ohio.
How long until Pelosi is forced to resign? I have serious doubts she has what it takes to make it through another campaign. We will see!
